Writer/director Troy Duffy had a bonafide cult hit on his hands with The Boondock Saints. A direct to dvd action flick that has many ardent followers. Self-destructive asshole Troy Duffy’s rise and fall is brilliantly glimpsed in the documentary called “Overnight”, which chronicles how Boondock went from a high profile theatrical release to being a direct to DVD flick. The doc is a must-see.

I liked the original movie, too. And I also saw Overnight. That Troy Duffy, he’s quite a character.
