I was at Target around 11:40 am browsing through the toy aisle when the ground started shaking. Then it shook harder and the toys started shaking as well. Saw a kid standing on a shopping cart and she started crying. It looked like she was about to jump out so I ran towards the cart and told her everything is okay. The mom wasn’t even there for the first 10 seconds or so after the earthquake. I just stayed watched her until her mom came. That mom was a fucking jackass. First of all, she should have sat her kid down on the cart with the safety belt, not let her stand on the cart. To make things worse she left her kid unsupervised while she was shopping.
Clown and Curse’s minion down for the count.
Afterwards, I went back to the toy aisle and got some Mighty Muggs, Wolverine and Spider-Man. I checked out some of the aisles and there were bottles all over the floor. Everyone remained calm but shocked for the most part. I’d say about 90% tried to call their loved ones afterwards but cell phone service was not working.
My brother’s 1/6th figure also took a dive.
My boss called me and said I shouldn’t come in today because the server went down and they’ve got to fix bigger problems. As I was driving home, I noticed a lot of cops patrolling the streets. Came home and I was welcomed with some of my figures on the ground. I was expecting worse but it still sucks my figures took a dive. Checked out my brother’s room and one of his 1/6th military figure also took a dive. My Shaft figure landed inside the first column of the bookshelf. I don’t even know how it got there because it was originally on the 5th shelf. So it must have gone out of the bookshelf and went back in. Maybe the bookshelf was shaking and caught Sam Jackson back in. Fortunately for me, my statues didn’t fall and none were broken. It’s probably because I don’t put them on the edge of the shelf. I never thought of an earthquake when I displayed my statues but I just didn’t feel safe having them on the edge. From now on, I’ll keep an earthquake in mind when I’m displaying my figures.
Gallery of my fallen figures below.
You see that 5th shelf? That’s where Shaft was placed.
Then he landed on the first shelf…where the turtles are at.

Spartan,
I’m worried about your Minas Tirith. Hopefully it didn’t fall off the shelf.
