Two Snow White Films Currently in Production: Which one will you see?

Snow White is one of the original Disney animated films so a classic like that has to be done right. Two Snow White films are currently in production. On one hand we have Twilight’s Kirsten Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman. The title alone hints at something a little darker, maybe more sophisticated than the original story we’ve all come to know and love. In this one, Snow White (Stewart) has been training in the art of combat with none other than the same huntsman (Thor’s Chris Hemsworth) hired by the queen (Charlize Theron) to kill her.

The other Snow White, based on the Brothers Grimm tale and starring Lily Collins (The Blindside) as the not-so ugly stepchild, seems to be a little more light-hearted, with Julia Roberts as the evil queen, Sean Bean of Game of Thrones as the king, and The Social Network’s Armie Hammer as the prince. This project is set to hit theaters in early 2012 a whole two months ahead of the other one and still as of yet seems to have no working title. Lily Collins does have high praises for Robert’s ice queen saying that she takes evil to a whole new level. Nothing yet about the dwarf situation over at Kirsten Stewart’s Snow White, but this one is starring two guys from the doggie rescue reality show The Pit Boss, which is definitely a plus!

Here are pics from both movies. One difference right off is color. Stewart’s version is definitely going to be darker than the other. Which one looks better to you?
