Disney announced that ticket prices to both U.S. theme parks will increase starting tomorrow, August 5, 2010. Tickets for Walt Disney World will reach more than $80 for a one day pass while at Disneyland, it will go up to $76. Below are the old prices along with the new ones.
Walt Disney World –
Previous: $79
New: $82
Disneyland –
Previous: $72
New: $76
You can check out Disney’s blog for more pricing info.
I haven’t paid for a ticket for the past 5 years or so because I have friends that work at Disneyland and they hook me up but damn that’s expensive. For a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) with parking, total will be $303. With souvenirs and food, total will probably be around $450. That’s a lot of money for one day in the Happiest Place on Earth.
If I don’t get free tickets, it’s time for me to go to the local theme parks, Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags! Tickets there can be had for around $35 if you look for deals.

Aug 4, 2010 -
bad economy, lots of people out of the job, so lets raise the prices? This seems to be a really bad choice(feels like the government is giving them financial advice).
I to fortunately have friends that can get me into the park, but still, thats way to much for a park. I think ill stick to going to Mouse World in Second Life, its free, lol.
(BTW::i got to ride on star tours on the last night it was open)
