Batman The Return #1 was the number one comic book for November, selling about 99,500 copies. The trend with comic sales is that if a comic sells more than 100,000 copies, it’s a success. Batman The Return, is a success but I’m sure DC hope it would cross the 100k mark. Blackest Night #5 was last year’s top title in the same time frame selling 144,000 copies. That’s a big gap and overall sale of comics is down by 6% for the the month of November. While Marvel’s top selling comic landed at #3 in Avengers #7, they still got the highest percent of comics sold at 43%. DC finished with 39%.
