I thought I was a big Spawn collector until Charlie showed me his collection. I was amazed with his display because it seems like he has all the figures! Besides the toys, he also has trading cards, movies, rare exclusive and a standee. Now, that’s hardcore. It put my Spawn collection to shame. So I’ll just put my head down while you check out the pics!
Name: Charlie Eise
Location: Southington, Ct.
How did you get into the hobby?
Always loved toys in the ’60’s and I guess I was a pretty spoiled kid. I had loads of cool toys. After I started buying toys for my own kids in the ’80s (TMNT, Thunder Cats, Toxie! etc.) I saw how cool they were getting. I started buying M.U.S.C.L.E. Guys for one of my kids. Loved ’em and started buying them for myself. Then I had to have all the Kenner Aliens & Predators. By the time Spawn hit, I was hooked big time! I also blame the show “Personal FX: The Collectibles Show” for stuff like my ‘Spawn Room’
What’s your favorite toy? Really hard to say. Today it’s Mezco’s Popeye line, yesterday was Toxic Toons.
Toy lines you are currently collecting: Nothing really interests me right now. I’m kind of digging some of the Bioshock figures.
Awesome Spawn standee!
Early years of McFarlane Toys
I don’t even know where to look first, it’s overwhelming!
VHS makes an appearance
Raven exclusive
I guess this is the sci-fi area
Box sets takes up a lot of room
Exclusive fishtanks
Must get the PVC Spawn
