Activision has announced, COD: Black Ops has sold 5.6 million units in the U.S. and U.K in the first 24 hours of its release. The sales combined for a total of $360 million, compared to last year’s COD: MW 2 of $310 million. The game is getting mixed reviews from gamers. Some people are complaining about the respawn points, while others like the Vietnam-era weapons and tougher killstreaks. This game is a success no matter how you look at it but I don’t think it will surpass the total sales of MW 2. The word of mouth for the game isn’t that great and I’m thinking majority of the sales will come from the first week.
