Coachella has been officially announced for almost two weeks now and already people are talking it up about the good and the bad. For those who don’t know Coachella is a 3 day festival that has been running for over 10years now and is located in Indio California, minutes away from the more commonly known city Palm Springs. It started with one day, then the weekend, and now a full 3 day true music experience. Besides indie rock, electronic Dj’s and top tier performers like Jay Z on Friday, The Muse on Saturday, and Gorillaz on Sunday, the traditional music goer will also get to experience art exhibits that inhabit the Empire Polo Field in which the festival takes place.
Long time patrons of the fest have always had a say; good & the bad. This year, only 3 day passes, which run around $300 after ticket master fees, will be available in exchange for a wristband that allows entrance to the fest. NO SINGLE DAY TICKETS. For patrons who have gone all 3 days, this is somewhat old news, but for many who decide to go only one or two days, now have to hoof it out and go all three days or sacrifice and pay the dues. This new policy also came with RV camping, 10X30 tent camping spots, and in’s and out’s of the festival- something in which has never been done before.
Coachella is an experience I recommend anyone to enjoy if they love music and art. 3 days under the sun, good vibes, and great people- a home away from home for many & being a 4 year veteran myself, this year should be one of the funnest in some time because of all the new policy changes.
Hope to see you all their!!
