One of the most popular MMA fighters to ever step in the Octagon has called it quits. Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, retired today. UFC President Dana White made the announcement at a press conference. White said Liddell will still work with the UFC as the VP of Business Development. I don’t know what that means but I’m assuming he’ll be a cosultant. Liddell was a light heavyweight champ for 2 years beating opponents like Randy Couture, Babalu and Tito Ortiz. The Iceman has been knocked in his past 3 fights but he’ll be remembered as a KO artist.

You can tell by his body language he still doesn’t want to retire but he made the right move. He was past his prime even though his heart is still in it.
