Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Trailer

This new Spider-Man game has Spidey exploring four different Marvel dimensions in search of the “Tablet of Order and Chaos”.  The first two that have been revealed are the “Amazing”, and “Noir” dimensions.  The final two dimensions will be revealed on the Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions web site.  The game is also scheduled to be out in September for Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3, with a DS version also being developed.…

Metroid: Other M Gameplay Trailer

Metroid: Other M Gameplay Trailer

A neat little surprise just surfaced on the web – a new Metroid trailer!  This trailer comes in at a whopping two minutes and twenty nine seconds, but still doesn’t seem to satiate my desire to play it.  I’m a long-time Metroid fan, and still somewhat skeptical as to how great this game will be, but it’s looking better and better each time I see it.…

Splinter Cell Conviction Sam Interrogation Iconic New Splinter Cell Conviction Trailer is Less on Stealth and More on Jack Bauer Action

The newest trailer for Splinter Cell Conviction is out and Sam Fisher is looking meaner than ever. Judging from the trailer, the series is taking on a more action-oriented route with twists and turns reminiscent of 24 and the Bourne Identity series. Let’s just hope that there will still be some stealth missions left. One thing is certain, Sam Fisher seems to be getting younger.

Splinter Cell Conviction will be released to us on April 13, 2010.

Super Street Fighter IV Final Box Art Still Looks Meh

Super Street Fighter IV PS3 Final Cover Super Street Fighter IV Final Box Art Still Looks Meh

Capcom has released the final box art for Super Street Fighter IV, and while it’s better than the one they showed before, it’s still a meh for me. The generic character art for Deejay and Adon is just too scary looking. Chun Li’s character art looks to be like the only good one, but she’s tucked away in the back. Anyway, click on the images to get the higher res version.

Alan Bradley To Headline Major ENCOM Announcemet At Wonder Con

ATTENTION ALL ENCOM EMPLOYEES!  We reported earlier this month on Disney’s intriguing Tron Legacy Viral Marketing Campaign in the form of an online mini-game.  If you completed the game you would receive a personalized ID badge as an ENCOM “Employee.”  Scanning the badge with a Google phone would send you to the ENCOM Company website where there were subtle hints at some sort of reveal in San Francisco the same time as Wonder-Con.  Recently all employees receives an email from ENCOM PR:

ENCOM, CREATOR OF TRON, TO MAKE MAJOR NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT IN SAN FRANCISCO ON APRIL 2ND

Tom Clancy’s Kick-Ass Ghost Recon Future Soldier Trailer

Tom Clancy’s Kick-Ass Ghost Recon Future Soldier Trailer

gr5 2 0868650 Tom Clancys Kick Ass Ghost Recon Future Soldier TrailerWow,  I hope the game play is as cool as the live action trailer.  What an amazing production value, and it’s only a video game trailer.  The trailer hints at Invisibility Cloaks and cool Gun Drones, but other than that I guess will have to wait for an actual game play footage trailer.

Being that the game developer is Ubisoft, I wouldn’t doubt it if they came out with a few more live-action short-film trailers like they did with Assassin’s Creed 2.…

“Skinput”: A User Interface On Your Arm

“Skinput”: A User Interface On Your Arm

This new device, which is currently in development at Carnegie Mellon, will allow users to control devices by tapping parts of their arm/fingers.  It is currently a strap that goes on your bicep, but they hope to get it down to the size of a watch.  In the video they demonstrate how a user could tap parts of their forearm to control an MP3 player, and also how a game like Tetris can be controlled by tapping one’s fingers.

3dds 02 Nintendo 3DS To Be Playable At E3 In June

Nintendo has shocked a lot of people by suddenly announcing what will be the successor to the DS (meaning it’s a “DS2”, and not just another version of the DS).

What I’ve found out so far is that it will have:

3D effects without the need for 3D glasses

backwards compatibility with DS games

motion controls (in addition to regular controls)

and that it will come out sometime during Nintendo’s next financial year (April 2010-March 2011), but my guess is that the release date for North America will be around November, just in time for the Christmas craze.

There is

Special Forces Soldier Takes on Modern Warfare 2’s The Pit

Special Forces Soldier Takes on Modern Warfare 2’s The Pit

mw2 Special Forces Soldier Takes on Modern Warfare 2s The Pit What happens when you take a real life Special Forces soldier and pin him up against a gamer?  British TV show The Gadget Show did just that by creating a real-life incarnation of the the Modern Warefare 2’s “The Pit.”

The Soldier would run the real course, while host Jason Bradbury would simultaneously play the exact level the course was based off of on XBOX360.  The results may surprise you.

I think the soldier chose the wrong tactic of choosing to sit and pick off the targets one by one.  Maybe he forgot that the goal was to get …
