Wii-exclusive title, Epic Mickey was shown late last year, and to be honest, graphically it didn’t impress me at all.  However, the game has had some time to improve, and as you’ll see in the videos, it looks great now.  The game captures the feel of the Disney cartoons very well, with both the physical worlds, and the animations of the caracters.

So, now that I have your attention, the name of this game is Vanquish, and it will be available for PS3 and 360, possibly this fall.  The man behind the game is Shinji Mikami.

The game is essentially Gears of War, but with a faster pace, from what I’ve seen so far.  However, that’s not to say that it should be skipped over as a wannabe Gears, but instead should be considered a great alternative to Gears.

I’ve seen previews in magazines, and screenshots, and I’ve only thought of Rage as a Fallout 3 clone.  Well, thankfully my preconceptions have been proved wrong, as I was lucky enough to enter Bethesda’s appointment-only booth.

Only at E3 can a Cirque du Soleil event introduce the new name for Microsoft’s Project Natal project, now dubbed “Kinect.” For those that don’t know about the Natal project, it’s pretty much Microsoft’s answer to Nintendo Wii and Playstation Move. The technology is different from both Nintendo and Sony’s motion controls because it doesn’t need controllers. Your body is the controller. The “Kinect” sensor plugs into your 360 and will be able to read your body movement using video, audio and motion tracking.
