Scheduled for release on October 18, 2011, the game looks to be much more bigger than the original.   It’s cool how the environment is used for gameplay.  Batman can use his grappling hook to catch a chopper or zipline between buildings.  Plus he can float more since there are so many buildings.  The details in the characters seems to be better than the first game.

WB and DC has announced the release date for Batman: Arkham City – October 18th 2011.  I thought this game was going to be released in May/June because there’s a tie in comic book released in May.  Here’s some new screenshots from the game as well as the press release:

GK films has acquired the rights to Tomb Raider from Square Enix, that awesome entertainment company who put out such gems as Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Graham King and Tim Headington will produce the film which is slated for a 2013 release.  Believe it or not, the original two Tomb Raiders grossed over $400 mil. worldwide.  It makes sense that they would want to reboot this thing, what with the success of the video game and the two Jolie flicks.  Hopefully this time they’ll make the film less corny.  I remember Jolie saying that she liked the script because it …

How do you piss off the entire city of San Francisco? Cliffy B, the man behind Bulletstorm, which is being released today, tweeted that he bought Killzone 3.  He said he’s an equal opportunity gamer and even though he’s loyal to MS, he plays all type of games.  This is what he said on Twitter:

Sony’s PS3 exclusive, Killzone 3 will finally come out tomorrow.  But Epic Games (Gears Of War) countered by releasing Bulletstorm on the same day.  So which one will gamers buy?  From friends I talked to, they’re buying both.  Both games are FPS but they play totally different.  Killzone 3 is a much slower game and more methodical while Bulletstorm is more of an arcade game, using crazy combos to kill your enemies.
