The first 2 Bioschock’s were underwater but for the 3rd installment, it’ll be floating islands.  It still has the steampunk theme but much more brighter. The levels also look bigger.  The images below has been released and will be featured in the game.  It gives us clues to the weapons and enemies in the game:

Last month SEGA released a teaser trailer of their Renegade Ops game.  Now they have released the first trailer.  For those of you who are down for a little bit of the old ultraviolence, this definitely looks like a keeper. Renegade Ops was developed by Swiss Avalanche Studios, the makers of Just Cause and Just Cause 2.  They describe the game as their “first  strategic step into downloadable games but certainly not the last.”  It will be available for download this summer on XBOX live Arcade and the Playstation Network.

Inxlinx from Spawn messageboard has shared this exclusive Modern Warfare 3 poster from Gamestop.  At first it looks like a regular Time magazine cover but if you pay attention to the headlines,  it talks about Soap and Captain Price on the top left.  The main headline is for a level in the game.

The Playstation Network (PSN) has been down for nearly a month because of hackers breaching the system and getting credit card info.  Yesterday, it went back up.  I connected around 6 p.m. and everything looked fine.  No lag or anything.  I used Netflix and it did take longer than usual to find the best resolution (based on your internet speed) but overall I’m pleased with it.  I didn’t play any online games but I’ll try it out sometime this week when I get COD: MW from Gamefly.…

We all knew MW 3 would come out this year and today, the plot for the game has been revealed.  It consists of the Russians attacking U.S. again.  But instead of Washington D.C., like the second game, it will be in New York City.  You’ll play a Delta Force (hopefully Chuck Norris) in the first level and work your way through Wall Street.  Old characters like “Soap” and Price are back as well as they try to hunt down the Russian baddie in Africa.

Nice trailer. I wasn’t familiar with Minecraft, but everyone and their grandmas are talking about it, so I had to see what the fuss is all about. Blocky graphics doesn’t seem to matter, as players are getting addicted to this zombie/puzzle game.

In anticipation of their new console which is set to be released in 2012, Nintendo has reduced the price of the Wii console to $149.  It will be available in black or white and will be bundled with the popular Mario Kart game and the Wii Wheel in a matching color.

On May 15, Nintendo will release a line of games called “Nintendo Selects.”  They will go for $20 bucks and titles will include The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Wii Sports, Animal Crossing Cityfolk and Mario Super Sluggers.
