After several weeks of speculation, it has been cofirmed that a new Avengers TV series will begin airing in 2013 on Cartoon Network.

The article does not mention the cancellation of the current Earth Mightiest Heroes show, but it would be pointless to have two different Avengers cartoon on two networks. which pretty much confirms that the current (awesome and great) Avengers cartoon is, unfortunately, a goner.

The X-Men are a hugely popular comic book and franchise from Marvel that has been around for eons. Game of Thrones is just what the doctor ordered for fantasy fans. It’s a big, gory epic with great acting and excellent production values. The “game” is really a play for power between different factions and Game of Thrones isn’t just a series for fantasy fans, it’s a series for fans of great drama as well. The blu-ray set is simply gorgeous. The picture and audio are damn close to flawless while there are copious extras for fans to watch and enjoy. The Benderspink production company along with Roddenberry Entertainment are coming together to adapt the highly acclaimed sci-fi graphic novel Days Missing for film and television.  You might recognize the name Roddenberry as the man behind Star Trek. Trevor Roth, the creator of Days Missing, is also the head of development at Roddenberry Entertainment. JC Spink, co-founder of Benderspink, says that Days Missing has the potential for a three-feature trilogy to be produced simultaneously with the TV show.

Did you know Channing Tatum of G.I. As previously reported on NerdSociety, the CW is working on a show called Arrow which centers around the DC comic character Green Arrow.  The actor cast in the lead role isn’t exactly a household name at this juncture, but Stephen Amell has appeared on Vampire Diaries, 90210, Private Practice and Hung.
