Well another Heroes came and went.  As the show is progressing, it’s getting harder and harder to remain interested.  But, as a fan, I have to keep on watching just to see what happens.  Why keep watching? Because I’m a sucker.  Haven’t you ever had that feeling that something is really sucking the life out of you, but you can’t stop yourself from it?  This episode isn’t that bad, but it isn’t that great either.  Now let’s get to it shall we?…

 

So I was out shopping and I always tend to google the toy section, because that’s what 29 year old guys who live with mum and dad do. I always like to see how the remake of my childhood toys get butchered, or sometimes get cool remakes. I ran across a toyline I could not afford as a kid, but held very deeply to my heart,  Transformers. More than meets the eye, more than my wallet could afford.

At quick glance, a huge hunk of shit caught my eye……

 

Heroes had an amazing first season.  It was an impressive mix of cool visuals, inventive characters, and most importantly, compelling storylines.  We got to meet lovable Hiro and Ando, the fascinating HRG, the evil Sylar, and many other cool characters along the way.  Then something happened to Heroes in season 2.  It started to suck and suck badly.  Lots of unnecessary characters (Season 1 had some lame ones to begin with like Nikki, we didnt need the bleeding wonder twins and a young Black woman (who lives in the hood and works at a fast food place…uh, great progress, guys) who …

Sons of Anarchy is a biker drama from the FX Network.  FX has prided itself on being the home of edgy and violent fare like The Shield, which is still its best series.  Before The Shield came along, FX was mostly known as a dumping ground for reruns of old Fox series.  Sons of Anarchy is the newest drama from FX and its a bonafide hit.  According to a recent article, as many as 97 percent of the viewers of the pilot come back each week for the latest episode.  It’s easy to see why.…

Let’s cut to the chase.  This episode is entertaining, but not as good is the other episodes for season 3.  The story still feels like nothing has happened.  The twists, you can already predict from previous episodes, as if they’re slowly peeling away a banana peel, but you already know what’s inside the banana peel. And if you don’t know what’s inside, then I suggest you try it.  It’s filled with Potassium!

Yes, it’s just going to be the headsculpts. Guess how much it’s going to cost for each head? $150 a pop! Wow, i’ve gotten cheaper heads somewhere else. It makes me wonder how much Enterbay had to pay for the licenses on these characters. These look nice but there’s no way in hell i’d pay $150 for just a head. But, that Palmer sculpt would look nice for a Jonas bash from The Unit.

Knight Rider was one of my favorite television series when I was a kid.  You had “The Hoff” and a wisecracking, talking car named KITT battling evil and helping people in need.  The new series stars a soap actor named Justin Bruening (from All My Children fame) who makes The Hoff look like Daniel Day Lewis.  The bland brooder basically has a blank stare on his face and could probably be well served to spend more time taking acting lessons and less time working out at Bally’s.  Knight Rider started out as a backdoor pilot that was like a 2 hour …
