Last night’s episode of the formerly excellent series Heroes was so inept, dreary, slow and inane that I almost decided to turn on Gossip Girl in its place. At least that show KNOWS how ridiculous it is and I’d get to see Chuck Bass sneer and sleep with lots of girls. Lets face it, Heroes hasn’t been good since season 1. Season 2 was a debacle and this season wasn’t much better. I used to hold out hope that the show could be saved but last night’s season finale was just about unwatchable. Another really good episode of Kamen Rider has gone by last Saturday.  This episode again focused on Kamen Rider Torque (Drew) and his plan to win over Kitt, and turn him against Len.  Torque claimed that he could help Kitt find a cure for his father, who was in a hospital in a comatose state.  Meanwhile, Len was out brooding and looking for a fight, unable to convince Kitt of the sneering Drew’s true intentions.

Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight is taking its time to develop actual stories instead of just going for straight action and fight scenes and I admire that.  …

Kamen Rider: Torque was the best mix of action and storytelling thus far on Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight.  THIS is the episode fans have been waiting for.  Torque was full of twists and dark turns and I enjoyed it thoroughly.  Besides an unnecessary subplot (well, it was necessary since it had to do with Kit’s Dad, but the characters are annoying), it was a near-perfect 20 minutes.

 Torque is the name of the latest rogue Kamen Rider.  Xavias schemes to use Torque to break up the newly formed alliance of Kit and Len.  Our heroes are doing quite well until Torque …
