The following is a readers comment poll. By posting YOUR choice in the comments section YOU can make yourself heard!

I have been asked by multiple people; which version of Cobra Commander is my favorite? That can be a hard question to answer. So I’ll give my answer in the comments and the reason why.
Although there are many versions of the Cobra leader to choose from; I’ve picked 4 of the more well-known.

METAL PLATE: In 1983, viewers first saw the Cobra Commander in this outfit.  The shiny metal plate covering his face, paired with the helmet made him …

TV Review: Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight Episode 19 “Semper Fi”

Kamen Rider Sting TV Review: Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight Episode 19 Semper Fi

This week’s episode of Kamen Rider is easily the best of the series so far. An important episode that sets up a good chunk of the rest of the series. The episode is all about loyalty, friendship, and sacrifice. One of the riders makes the ultimate sacrifice to save another. The acting is improving each week and especially interesting is the character of Kamen Rider Sting. Chris Ramirez was a marine who got a medical discharge and was tricked into fighting for General Xaviax. After being told the truth, he has been fighting along side Wing Knight and Dragon Knight to …

Merlin DVD Review: Merlin and the Book of Beasts

Merlin and the Book of Beasts is a typical Sci-Fi Channel original movie. It has awful acting, cheap-looking production design, and some of the worst CG effects viewers will ever see. Merlin has been an enduring legend and there are many notable incarnations worth checking out. The latest is a series from The BBC called Merlin, and is something of a new spin on the legend, taking its cues from the popular Smallville series. It’s bright and entertaining, unlike the trainwreck of a movie reviewed here.

Merlin and the Book of Beasts wants to show us the “dark side” of a …

After 4 seasons of the decades old series, the BBC is releasing a few single episode videos which are aired on BBC America and of course in England. These features are being shown to lead up to the reboot of the series that will feature the “regeneration” of David Tennant’s Doctor.

Starring: David Tennant the 10th Doctor and Michelle Ryan from the short-lived “Bionic Woman”; Planet of the Dead brings The Doctor and a bus full of passengers to a desert world where …

G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra. 80’s HC Fan Review.

Baroness6 G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra. 80s HC Fan Review.
After 25 years and a year and a half waiting, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra has finally hit the screens. The film had a strong start as they introduced the characters whom brought the cartoons, comic books and action figures to life. Although there were changes and other alterations from the actual characters—some of these changes were improvements on the originals.  Others were destructive.

As a fan since the beginning I’ve offered up some reviews of the current and past action figures; the animated movie and even a sealed specialty—rare Headman figure. I’m sure you, the reader is curious to …

True Blood – Season 1 Review

600full true blood poster True Blood Season 1 Review

What could’ve been a great TV show, wasn’t so great afterall. The whole season was full of surprises, and interesting characters. But, somehow, they manage to wreck the finale. What a disappointment, all the build up, the interesting sub-plots, suddenly took a dive in the last episode.

TrueBlood04 True Blood Season 1 Review

True Blood is an HBO series about vampires in Lousiana. They are not very popular amongst the humans because they are stereotyped as evil, and murderers. The story revolves around a bar waitress named Sookie, played by Anna Paquin. Although not a vampire, she considers herself a freak because she can read people’s minds. …

Here I am at Comic-Con with Hailey (Paramore)

I recently attended Comic-Con and let me say it was a blast, well that’s because I was busy flirting with the babes (shhh, don’t tell the girlfriend). Throughout the event, we did video interviews and got a chance to attend the Kamen Rider panel.

“Wait a minute, You went to Comic-Con and only went to the Kamen Rider panel? Is that it?”

Yeah, we didn’t feel like waiting in line for the other panels (as awesome as they may be) and instead used that time to take loads of pictures of cosplayers, babes, …
