Jersey Shore is MTV’s most popular weekly series in almost ten years. The ratings are staggering and just keep going up each week. When the show first debuted, it was watched by a mere 1.2 million viewers. Last week’s episode was watched by 6.5 million viewers. Why is Jersey Shore the hottest reality show on TV? Pasadena, CA – Power Morphicon has come and gone, it was a mid-size event with a very good turnout. There were cosplayers, action figures, and Power Rangers from different generations signing autographs for the excited fans. I’m glad to say that Power Rangers is still kickin today, I remembered watching the shows afters school when it first came out. The much anticipated tv show from AMC, Walking Dead,  will have a 90 minute premiere on Halloween night at 10PM.  The show is based off a comic with the same title published by Image comics and written by Robert Kirkman.

Just got word from Spike.com that one of my favorite tv shows will be back for a third season.  Although, I’m always wrong on my predictions, I enjoy the show because it doesn’t take itself seriously.  The producers know that in the end, it’s for entertainment purposes. So we see the weapons being tested and kicking ass.  Then we have the epic battle at the end that fakes you out.

Here are my top-10 TV Intros. Most are from the 80s when I was a kid. They are either from Saturday morning cartoons, or after school action shows, these are the intros that will stick with me forever!

10) C.O.P.S – The thing that stuck most about this show was the toys, they were the bigger version of GI Joes, same articulation, but bigger in size. The figs also came with cool cap-firing accessories. The toys were the reason I became a fan of the show!

The soundtrack to Jersey Shore is a bit of a mixed bag, but more often than not, it totally succeeds as a party CD, and that’s all it wants to be. Based on the popular MTV reality series, the Jersey Shore soundtrack is a continuous mix of 16 dance tracks featuring some extremely popular hip-hop/electronica artists. It’s the lesser-known (at least in the US) electronic stars who really shine.

In 1991, Hasbro jumped on board the anti-drug movement with a line of figures from G.I. Joe called the Drug Elimination Force or D.E.F. Headman is the evil leader of the Headhunters a non-Cobra organization that has overrun “Every Town USA” with killer substances.

In the cartoon, Headman was portrayed as an absolute nut who was pretty clean looking compared to the namesake action figure.

This line of toys had begun the most detailed look at the action figure inside the bubble. The file card describes details down to the characters outfit and what accessories they may have.
