Miss Elizabeth WWE Elite Collection

Miss Elizabeth WWE Elite Collection

For the first time in the current lineup of WWE items, fans have finally gotten the chance to own the beloved Miss Elizabeth in action figure form. One of the most popular characters in WWE history ever, Miss Elizabeth has been a fan demanded choice for quite some time. Well Mattel listened and included her in a poll for fans to vote. You all remember this, over a year ago Mattel offered up a voting experience on Mattycollector.com for fans to vote for their ideal lineup for the exclusive online WWE Elite Collection Flashback Series. Miss Elizabeth clearly won many votes …

DC Direct Statues Must Have…For Sept & Oct

DC Direct just announced there latest wave of statues for September and October.  That’s right, collectable companies announce products early to gauge what will be a hit…or miss.

These are just the ones that I’m interested in and worth noting.  Keep in mind they release much more and the whole list can be found here.

Greg Capullo Batman black & white statue.  Retails for $80.  I’m buying this shiznit.  I wish it was the traditional costume instead of the new 52 design.  They already did one with the new costume a year or so ago.  I’m still getting it because …

Jor-El Carries A Gun In Man Of Steel

Jor-El Carries A Gun In Man Of Steel

So I was browsing the DC booth at WonderCon earlier and noticed this pretty cool 1/6th figure of Russell Crowe as Jor-El.

One thing that stood out was his weapon.  He was actually carrying a gun.  This is different from the previous versions of Jor-El, where he’s portrayed as a smart scientist.

I guess in this version, he’ll whoop some ass before his planet gets blown to pieces and sends his son to Earth.

Man Of Steel will be released this summer.

K-ON! or Keion, a Japanese Anime that features a band of 5 girls from an all girls school—The Light Music Club! 1966 Batman Toy Line

old batman02 1966 Batman Toy Line

The cheesy, but cool at the same time, Adam West Batman is making a comeback, or at least DC Comics is hoping it would. DC Comics is planning to release comics in the future. But first, they announced the release of the old school Batman figure as an exclusive at SDCC (San Diego Comic-con) 2013, which only means one thing, that most of us won’t be able to get it!

The Cesar Romero Joker, Robin, The Riddler, and Penguin are also coming out, but I don’t think as exclusives. Enjoy the photos below courtesy of Action Figure Insider.

Vintage Toy of the Month! Captain Power!

Vintage Toy of the Month! Captain Power!

Picking out an all new Vintage Toy of the Month is always a thought provoking task. I sit around in my archival room and debate with all my vintage items to find out who will take the coveted spot for each new month. It gets challenging! However, there can only be one winner, and this month we are going to take a look back at a toy line that was going to revolutionize how we played with our toys: Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future!

Captain Power was a live action show aimed at kids but it contained many …

Custom Catra!

Custom Catra!

Sometimes you just have to go for it, you have to take something that you want to make better and get risky by applying paint, or trying your hand at sculpting; maybe even sew something up to enhance the piece to your liking…

C Catra 0 Custom Catra!

My first customized action figure (since I was a kid). I chose Catra from the Masters of the Universe Classics line. Now, Catra was nice to begin with, sculpted in the form of the 80’s Filmation cartoon character from She-Ra, Princess of Power. However, I really wasn’t happy deep down inside; so what to do? I’ve always been …

Evangelion: Makinami Mari Illustrious!

Evangelion: Makinami Mari Illustrious!

Years after Evangelion went by the way side but remained in the memories of fans, Hideaki Anno revived the series in 2007 with The Rebuild of Evangelion. The Rebuild is a series of movies that take a lot from the original Anime series and updates it with cleaner, more modern art and animation and alterations to the story through the plotlines and even whole scenes are changed in order to give the Rebuild of Evangelion a new look.

The first movie, “You are (NOT) Alone” features the introduction of Shinji and Rei along with all of the other recurring characters. …
