McFarlane has launched its newest Halo 3 line: Legendary Collection. Previous Halo 3 figures from Mcfarlane were well articulated, about 5 inches and ranged from $10 -$15. The previous lines were too small for me, so I waited for the Legendary line. The Legendary figures are bigger, limited articulation, and of course, the dynamic pose. Pretty much what you expect from a McFarlane line. But this time around, the figures costs around $20. Is it worth the price? Without further ado, here’s my Legendary Master Chief review:…

LoadingToys announces the release of the new James Bond action figure, the figure stands at about 12″ tall. Yes, kind of like Barbie.

DID is a company that makes 12″ action figures. This time around, they get political. With the election just around the corner, the toy manufacturer releases some teaser pics of some weird looking guys. Who are they suppose to be?

The winner in next week’s election will be made into an action figure. DID should also release the VPs. I think that it would sell more seeing that one VP is a hot redneck cougar.…

 

So I was out shopping and I always tend to google the toy section, because that’s what 29 year old guys who live with mum and dad do. I always like to see how the remake of my childhood toys get butchered, or sometimes get cool remakes. I ran across a toyline I could not afford as a kid, but held very deeply to my heart,  Transformers. More than meets the eye, more than my wallet could afford.

At quick glance, a huge hunk of shit caught my eye……

Are you a big fan of Rebel Without a Cause? If you are, then you’d probably like to own this figure from Hot Toys. I’m not a James Dean fan, never seen his movies, all I know is that he is a Hollywood legend. For me, this figure is not worth the price (probably around $140). But, buzz on the internet indicates that James Dean fans are very excited about this upcoming release. Some are suggesting early pre-orders because it might sell out. Apparently, the last James Dean figure, released by a different manufacturer, are selling for about $300 on fleabay. …

You’ve seen Transformers team up with Nike and Star Wars.  Now Transformers is teaming up with Disney.  The prototype picture is from a Japanese distributor and will retail for $44.99 in the U.S.  It will be released in two versions: color and black and white.

Dimensions for the figure hasn’t been announced yet but I think I’ll be getting this figure.  I like the “Disney” design when Mickey is in car mode, pretty unique.  From the looks of it, Mickey will represent Optimus Prime.  Does that mean that they’ll release more Disney Transformers figures soon?…

I’m not gonna write much here. You guys know the backstory behind Harvey Dent. I just want to show you guys some cool pics from Hot Toys. This guy is about 12″ tall and would probably run at about $175, just like the Dark Knight and the Joker.

Below are pictures of a 1/6th (12 inches) scale action figure by Hot Toys. The prototype version was painted by an artist named JC Hong. His skills are remarkable as he makes the Joker come to life. Of course, the final product does not look anything like Hong’s version, but Hot Toys did try to reproduce Hong’s painting as much as possible.

Now out at Wal-mart. I believe that these are Wal-mart exclusives. I’m going to hunt these suckas down. This figure is a steal for $25. It’s a little short on accessories, but I care more about the paint jobs and the texture quality. The articulation looks good just like its smaller counterparts. After work, I’m going to see if any Wal-marts around me will have these.

Also, the timing is perfect for tomorrow’s E for All expo. Expect the tentacles to do unapropriate things to unsuspecting game developers. Hopefully, we don’t get kicked out!…

Yes, it’s just going to be the headsculpts. Guess how much it’s going to cost for each head? $150 a pop! Wow, i’ve gotten cheaper heads somewhere else. It makes me wonder how much Enterbay had to pay for the licenses on these characters. These look nice but there’s no way in hell i’d pay $150 for just a head. But, that Palmer sculpt would look nice for a Jonas bash from The Unit.
