I’m not a huge fan of Snake Eyes like everyone else. In the original show he was hardly in it after the 82-85 specials where he didn’t have a beef with Storm Shadow at all. He was interesting if you attached him to the original toy line and not the comic and cartoon because he was one of the first figures made. He was almost called “Spook” originally; as in ghost.   I will admit that I currently own 4 versions of the Movie figures–just to sell in 20 years mint on card and in perfect condition. This statue will come out in November for a price of $80.  The design is based from the hit Batman game, Arkham Asylum.  While it looks good and it even has the trademark big ass batarang, $80 is a bit much for 7 inch statue .…

It was more than 6 months ago when I found the possible production of Electrostatic Soundwave–from here on called Soundblaster. In the last (un-produced on DVD) season of Transformers Animated, Soundwave returned and was animated in the form of this. The black and red are a “shout-out” to the classic 80’s rebuilding of Soundwave after he and Blaster (Broadcast) “killed” each other in the series–this of course was in Japan, not shown to us here in the U.S. What else is new…

District 9 was a nerd’s wet dream.  For a budget of $30 million, director  Neill Blomkamp created a sci fi movie that had awesome special effects that rivaled big budget movies.
