Round 5 is expanding its MMA figures with a new line called Versus.  Versus will be a two figure set based on previous UFC fights and will come out sometime in fall.  The set will also come with a cage diorama.  Let’s take a look at the line up:

There’s been numerous statues for the Clown Prince Of Crime but I think this is the best one yet.  It’s based on artwork by Lee Bermejo.  Joker really looks menacing and he has a swagger that makes him fearful instead of campy.  He even has his trademark .357 magnum:

It’s from the DC Direct Batman: Black and White line, which originally started with Batman statues. The line became so popular that they’re running out of Batman statues to do, so DC decided to make villains including Catwoman, a Jim Lee version of the Joker and Penguin.

Arkham Asylum had a really cool take on the Batman universe when it came out last year with the gritty and maniacal art direction.  I never expected it would spawn a toy line but I guess everyone loved the game and became an instant hit.  Below are the pics of series 2 figures, let’s take a look at the line up:

Many fans have been wondering why Optimus doesn’t have his trailer in the movies.  Well it looks like Michael Bay listened to the fans as several pics from siebertron.com shows Optimus with his trailer.  Tranformers 3 is shooting right now in Chicago and the filmmakers supposedly want to upstage the action scenes from the Dark Knight.

Other recent TF 3 pics shows Tyrese with the new female lead, Rosie Huntington-Whitely as well as a sports car sporting some machine guns.

Vinylmation are little figures designed in a shape of Mickey Mouse. So, in this case, there will be a Buzz Lightyear vinyl painted on a Mickey Mouse shaped figure. Buzz is one of the 12 Toy Story characters that are set to be released in July/August.

McFarlane Toys is focusing all of its energy on Halo toys and who can blame them.  With lackluster sales of “Spawn” and other in house lines (Dragon, Military) , it seems like Halo is their cash cow.
