Final Fantasy is a video game series from the role playing genre that has been entertaining gamers for years. With Final Fantasy XIII on the market and being featured in special sets from Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 (The Xbox offers a better set–unless you live in Japan where the PS3 has an awesome white console with an image of the main character from the game on the top side).

At the 2010 SDCC, the big Transformers action figure offered was Blaster a boom box counterpart to Soundwave the mini tape deck. A reproduction from the 80’s, Blaster was a well loved character who had so much play value that he sold very well.

Blaster annoyed his fellow Autobots by pumping out loud rock music and talking like a hip DJ. MucaMeow here to share my adventure at Comic-Con this year (A bit late). We knew it would be tough to fit everything in one day, but we were determined. We woke up early Thursday and made our way to the San Diego convention center.

We were accompanied by many attendees from the shuttle to the convention center’s main entrance. The first thing to do was scope out the exhibit hall. The exhibit hall was roomier, but we didn’t have a lot of time to look around – we had panels to attend.

About a month ago I previewed the 2 G.I. Joe Resolute 7 packs of action figures. Now I’ll present the actual figures themselves with great pictures to go along with the descriptions.

Cobra: Zartan and Alley Viper: Zartan is highly detailed with a solid paint job and a great face sculpt. The Transformers Animated line of action figures have been both praised and rejected by fans of the property. On one side, old-school fans of the 80’s original feel that the figures look cheesy and are upset about the choices of weapons such as axe’s and swords over guns and missiles. On the other side, fans of TF Animated find that the great articulation, sculpt and bladed (more kid friendly weapons) are cool and they don’t care about being gung-ho about the originals by liking both versions.
