Linkin Park is doing some serious business with Bandai Namco’s Gundam series. Not only is the band contributing their song “The Catalyst” as a theme song to the Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. arcade game, but a special edition of their latest album A Thousand Suns will come bundled with the “Full Vernian Linkin Park Edition” Gundam plastic model (“Gunpla”) that they helped design themselves.

Kajiryouji from TheOneCam loves collecting Revoltech figures and his latest pics has Woody in funny compositions.  For those that don’t know what Revoltech is, they’re Japanese figures that  has ” unique “Revolver Joint” articulation which all of the figures in this particular series utilize. Pasadena, CA – Power Morphicon has come and gone, it was a mid-size event with a very good turnout. There were cosplayers, action figures, and Power Rangers from different generations signing autographs for the excited fans. I’m glad to say that Power Rangers is still kickin today, I remembered watching the shows afters school when it first came out. After 4 months of waiting for my pre-order to come to me, I FINALLY have the Black Rock Shooter, Figma, action figure! This figure is absolutely amazing, for being made in China the quality is top notch. The detail throughout the figure is that of a hand painted statue, which is what I compare this figure to. With too many points of articulation to list, Black Rock Shooter can be posed almost endlessly. So I was browsing bigbadtoystore.com when I came upon the Machete figure.  There’s no specific date but it’s scheduled to be released sometime in October and retails for $14.99.  From the picture, he seems to have two machetes and small knives on his vest that can’t be removed.  The movie comes out this Friday, 9/3/2010 and so far it’s been getting mixed reviews.  

Either way, I’ll buy this figure just because it’s Danny Trejo.  This is the dude who played the rapist in Con Air, the voice of Umberto Robina in GTA: Vice City and one of Robert DeNiro’s crew in …

One of the coolest characters ever devised in the MOTU line, Trap Jaw is truly “Evil, and armed for combat!”

I recall the 80’s commercial well, where the character is sliding down a piece of string by the eyelet on the top of his head. The Classic’s figure also includes this eyelet as part of the head mold–but, that’s not all! Trap Jaw includes 3 weapons attachments for his cybernetic right arm. ABC reports that a 30-year-old Japanese nerd/man, Yoshifumi Takabe, burned down his house after his mom threw away his Gundam robot figures. He claims that he went crazy because those figures were his “lifetime partners.” He reportedly had 300 boxes full of these lifetime partners. I understand his pain, it’s not easy to paint and assemble those little figures!

The lesson here, keep your toys away from your mom!!!…
