I watched Lord Of The Rings (LOTR ) so many times on DVD that I got sick of it. 

“Who cares, if they’re fighting big elephants”

Entertainment Earth is having a buy 1 get 1 half off statue deal so I checked out what goodies they had.  I found this Catwoman statue from the Japanese company, Kotobukiya.  Not only is it sexy, but checkout the base,  it’s Batman being stomped on. That’s pretty weird and cool at the same time.

Sneaky Dexter ($13) – I like this one the best as it is the original. I’ve always admired the originals more than the variants, like the ghostbusters, or He-Mans.

Check out this limited edition figure of Voltron from Toynami.  It measures 27 inches.  Yeah that’s 2 feet and a quarter.  This isn’t some puny 12″ figure that I had when I was a kid.  It’s limited to 500 pieces.  But best of all you can play with this since it’s made of plastic, this isn’t a statue, it’s an action figure!  It sells for $250 and for that price it comes in an old school box!  I’d buy it but then I’ll want other big ass figures like Power Rangers.

I always thought Stay Puft was all marshmallows but this eBay auction proved me wrong.  As you can see, he’s more human that we thought.  It’s only his skin that makes him different from us.

The sculpt was made by Jason Freeny and it’s going for $760 on the auction site!…

Gaming Heads is producing a 20 inch statue of Zombie Head from Half Life 2.  The limited edition is numbered at 300 pieces, it will be available for pre order for $315, while the regular edition will have 750 pieces and retail for $300. That’s a lot of moolah bu it does look cool though.  Problem with this though is that most statues are 12 inches so where would you display this?

Menacing characters turned into cute cuddlies.

Jason – my favorite, I like the way the mask is designed, and the soaked machete is awesome!

Michael Myers – I love the way his trademarked red hair is sticking out in the back.

Freddie – this doesn’t capture Freddie as well as the other two. The face should be more defined.

These are cool little plushies, you can order them at entertainmentearth.com for $13 each. The sucky part is they don’t get released until February of next year! Why not release it around Halloween?

From the Transformers Universe, this exclusive Nemesis Prime is probably one of the most bitch’in toys in the Transformers line.

The mold of Nemesis Prime is exactly the same as TF Universe Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, however what makes this character cool is the color scheme and back story.

You might already be familiar with the Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight series currently showing in the US.  Kamen Rider V3 was a live-action, superhero TV show that first came out in the early 70’s, around the same time as Kikaider. (See my Kikaida article for more info).  A guy named Toru Hirayama got together with Ishinomoto, the creator of Kikaider, and put together a TV show based on a guy who wore a mask and costume that somewhat resembled a grasshopper. It was called Kamen Rider (which means “masked rider”).
