The Philadelphia Monster Jam (for those who don’t know what that is, it’s a Monster Truck show) was just awesome, it was my first time in the Eagles football stadium called Lincoln Financial Field and it’s huge! Hot Toys has released this pic of Superman from the original movie.  Tell me that doesn’t look like Christopher Reeve:

This is a Japanese imported figure from Figma.  It’s similar to Revoltech in terms of articulation, you can pretty much pose it any way you want.  Scale is about 7 inches, same as Neca and McFarlane’s RoboCop and the detail is awesome.  The gun holster in his leg even opens up.  It’s selling for around $32 here.  It’s a bit pricey but damn that looks nice!  Look how shiny that figure is.…

In 1982 Mattel offered the first Masters of the Universe play-set in the form of Castle Grayskull. Made of green molded plastic, this large home to the heroic Masters of the Universe has become an icon of 80’s culture.

Castle Grayskull has a ton of play-value which begins with the castle in the closed position, the detail for such a large piece is excellent even if it’s just brick-work in green with black shading. The “Jealous Beauty” Catra hasn’t been ruining She-Ra’s day since her release in the mid 80’s as an action figure doll with rooted hair. Now in true Mattel form, Catra comes to collectors as a fully articulated and highly detailed action figure.

The April figures are in and Matty Collector has changed me from a Sy-Klone hater to a liker, some-what… Sy-Klone was a dime a dozen in the 80’s and everyone and their brother had one. The vinyl collectible company will be releasing the Manny Pacquiao action figure in the summer.  This was originally available in Asia and last year’s Comic Con but starting in summer, it’ll be available to all Mindstyle vendors.

No price has been announced but it’ll probably cost around $50- $75.

Pacquiao’s next fight will be against “Sugar” Shane Mosley on May 7th, 2011.  The fight almost sold out in less than 2 hours and available on Showtime PPV.…
