NERDSociety just received four boxed Street Fighter mini-figures from the artistic based company, Kidrobot. For those that aren’t familiar, the mini-figures are presented like Baseball cards in which the content is a surprise; the well-designed boxes could contain a regular figure, a color variant, or, if you’re lucky, a rare character. No rare character for us, but we got Ryu, Ken, and two Blankas (green and blue).

Below are several pics of the villains from the Batman Power Attack line.  As you notice from the first 2 pics, there’s 3 Batman figs to 1 villain.  This line is meant for kids but Mattel did a great job for the $9 price, especially the design of the bad guys.

Mr. Freeze doesn’t have a gun but some kind of sword.  If there’s one Batman I’d get  from this line, it would be Battle Gauntlet Batman.

Probably the most long awaited character in the MOTU Classics line, Stinkor features a ton of accessories and even a scented body. Embedded with patchouli as the original figure was, Stinkor can clear a room keeping He-Man and his warriors at bay…Apparently, even Skeletor and his group doesn’t want to be around him either.

Today (at least in my time zone) Mattycollector.com revealed Mekaneck to its club subscribers and I have to say if he comes even close to the prototype, he will be an awesome figure!

This Hot Toys Hulk will be at least 18 inches since there regular figs are 12 inches and this one is in scale with the regular line.  Expect this figure to be out by the end of the year with probably a retail price of $250.  Looks awesome!

Here are 2 pics of Snake and the Big Boss courtesy of Hot Toys.  They make cool figures but these just look weird, especially the Big Boss.  She looks like a tranny with messed up boob job.  Expect this figures to be released by the end of the year (if they won’t do a resculpt) with a retail price of $175 each.

This month offers what the real fans of MOTU have been waiting too long for, it’s Thunder Punch He-Man! A quarterly variant and not the figure for April. The Matty morons screwed up on the entire years line and release dates, so because of the situation Thunder Punch He-Man will now be the April figure regardless of what Mattel’s ringers and the dweebs that think they are the ultimate fans of the line say.

I’ve been a Lego fan since I started playing with toys.  I remember saving my allowance so I can buy a small set consisting of an easy to build vehicle and a figure.  Majority of the fun is from assembling the sets, playing with it afterwards is just bonus.  Legos aren’t cheap but today they’re more popular than ever.  The brand has expanded to video games, shirts and even amusement parks but their quality has stayed the same: top notch.  They put so much value into the sets that kids and adults buy them at a frantic pace (try finding Ninjago …
