After 3 years in the market, the PS3 has finally beaten out Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 in sales for the month of September, thanks to the $100 price cut. Let’s see if Uncharted 2 can help boost sales for Sony for next month and the upcoming holiday season.

Here are the numbers for September 2009:

  1. Nintendo DS – 524,200 units sold
  2. PlayStation 3 – 491,800
  3. Wii – 462,800
  4. Xbox 360 – 352,600
  5. PlayStation Portable – 190,400
  6. PlayStation 2 – 146,000
