Just visited Knott’s Scary Farm over the weekend, and overall, it was fun. In this article, I’m going to review each mazes to let you know which ones are worth lining up for. This year, there’s a total of 13 mazes, although, 2 of the mazes are just rides with few modifications.

But, before we get to the mazes, let’s talk about how to get through the night without getting too uncomfortable.

– Wear tennis or walking shoes, if you don’t have any, wear double socks with whatever shoes you have. This will keep your feet from hurting early on.

DVD Review: Alien Autopsy

DVD Review: Alien Autopsy

autopsy1 DVD Review: Alien Autopsy

Remember in the 90s when FOX aired a show claiming what could be a real Alien autopsy? I do, I remember clearly the buzz behind the footage. They even interviewed “experts” in the medical field, as well as Hollywood’s top special-effects guru such as Stan Winston.

This DVD isn’t necessarily about the actual autopsy, but about how it came into fruition, what lead to the footage and why. Two friends partnered up to market what they’ve claimed to be a real alien autopsy. They end up meeting weird characters along the way, which kept me from turning off my DVD player.…

TV Review: Smallville Season 10, Episode 1 “Lazarus”

TV Review: Smallville Season 10, Episode 1 “Lazarus”

Smallville 5 TV Review: Smallville Season 10, Episode 1 “Lazarus”

Smallville started its tenth and final season Friday night. As a massive fan of the show I’ve decided to recap/review each and every episode up to the historic series finale. Check back here every week for my latest Smallville reviews.

Lazarus is the first episode of season 10. After a strong 9th season, Smallville hits the ground running with a solid mix of adventure and storytelling. The episode has a necessary amount of setup needed for the rest of the season while quickly resolving the cliffhangers of the season finale of season 9. The episode begins with Clark falling to the …

Totally Bitch’in Toy: Nemesis Prime!

Totally Bitch’in Toy: Nemesis Prime!

From the Transformers Universe, this exclusive Nemesis Prime is probably one of the most bitch’in toys in the Transformers line.

The mold of Nemesis Prime is exactly the same as TF Universe Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, however what makes this character cool is the color scheme and back story.

Transformation of Nemesis Prime is not all that difficult, but, I recommend that people take their time, this is a semi-rare collectible and there aren’t any at your local toy store.

Nemesis Prime includes two weapons which are a part of the truck itself. His wind vane or the top of …

kamen rider3 DVD Review: Kamen Rider V3!

You might already be familiar with the Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight series currently showing in the US.  Kamen Rider V3 was a live-action, superhero TV show that first came out in the early 70’s, around the same time as Kikaider. (See my Kikaida article for more info).  A guy named Toru Hirayama got together with Ishinomoto, the creator of Kikaider, and put together a TV show based on a v3b DVD Review: Kamen Rider V3!guy who wore a mask and costume that somewhat resembled a grasshopper. It was called Kamen Rider (which means “masked rider”).

The two shows follow a similar formula:  a cyborg …

Movie Review: The Town

Movie Review: The Town

The Town Movie Review: The Town

Ben Affleck’s new movie The Town is a tense, often terrific crime drama taking place on the mean streets of Boston in a tight-knit blue-collar community. Affleck plays the leader (more or less) of an elite team of bank and armed truck robbers whose latest robbery goes awry when a psychotic cohort kidnaps a bank worker, changing the course of all their lives forever. Affleck is on familiar turf here, but he seems to know the turf so well. The macho dialogue has the air of authenticity along with those thick Bohstonnn accents from Affleck and his fine supporting cast. Jeremy …

Supernatural The Complete Fifth Season Blu Ray Blu ray Review: Supernatural Season 5

Okay folks, Supernatural Season 5 is out, and does not disappoint. This is probably the best season to date, pretty much every episode is enjoyable from top to bottom. Okay, there are a few lacklusters, but it’s 22 episodes so it’s only understandable.

Season 5 deals with one major issue, the Apocalypse. Lucifer is loose, and is bent on destroying earth as we know it. Also, the angels are involved, but they are angry as they have been abandoned by their Father, and is set on fighting Lucifer and his crew, even if it means destroying anything that gets in their …

kikaida 1024x768 DVD Pick of the Week: Jinzo Ningen Kikaida!

Before there was the Power Rangers, or any other Japanese-inspired, live-action, superhero television show on for that matter, two series aired in Hawai’i and briefly in various cities around the continental U.S. called  Kikaider and Kamen Rider V3.

kikaider01 262x300 DVD Pick of the Week: Jinzo Ningen Kikaida!Anyone who grew up in Hawai’i in the 70’s and 80’s knows about Kikaida and Kamen Rider V3.  They were tokusatsu (live-action superhero) shows which aired on an all-Japanese channel and although many of the young viewers could not understand the Japanese language, they fell in love with these shows nonetheless.   Many could not even read English well enough to …
