This is a quick rundown of the Mazes at Knott’s Halloween Haunt. You aren’t sure of which Mazes to visit? This article will help you make the decision.

I suggest going to Knott’s Scary Farm as early as possible. The earlier dates are cheaper, and are less crowded. This means you have time to experience most of the Mazes. Also, don’t forget to wear comfy shoes, and most importantly, have fun!!!

Universal Studios Hollywood went in a different direction this year with Halloween Horror Nights and that’s definitely a plus!  Universal focused more on horror movie icons in previous events including Chucky (Child’s Play), Freddy Krueger (Nightmare On Elm Street) and Jason (Friday The 13th).  That sounds good in theory for mazes but when you see the characters every 10 seconds, it becomes predictable and not scary at all.

Besides saying “Arrr!” and “Matey”, it’s pretty damn hard to talk like a pirate.

Exxxotica was the place to be over the weekend to meet and greet the adult film stars of  parodies such as Batman and Star Wars.  I decided to ask the entertainers, the most important question of all time: “Which superhero would you date?”

Do you live in California and have items in your Amazon shopping cart right now?  If you do, you better make the purchase before midnight tonight or else you’ll be charged sales tax.  California passed a law, charging sales tax to internet purchases (not just Amazon).  I was saving on taxes before by buying items on Amazon (plus they’re already usually cheaper than retail stores).  With Cali tax closing on 10%, that means it’ll add up.  But whatever, it was good while it lasted.  I knew this day would come, just didn’t know it was going to be this soon.

Threadless is having a $10 sale for all of their shirts.  Now’s the time to stock up on cool shirts with great fabric.  Regularly, they sell for $20 but they have these awesome sales about 3-4 times a year.  The sale ends on July 5th, 10 am central time.
