Our favorite photographer, Ejen Chuang  was at Anime Expo today to get his badge and set up his table for his book, Cosplay In America.  He’ll be located at #A29 in AA for the 4 day convention, so make sure to pay him a visit.  Below is his adventure as he gets his badge and encounters an enthusiastic crowd:

Compilation photos of the STRIKEFORCE event in San Jose, CA; The biggest story of the night, as we all know, was the fall of Fedor. For the first time ever in his MMA career, Fedor Emelianenko suffered his first real MMA loss to Jiu-jitsu wizard, Fabricio Werdum.

What was Fedor’s emotional state after the loss? Check the photos below. NERDSociety was on hand to photograph some of the fights, the fighter entrances, the post-conference, and the behind-the-scenes celebrations by the victors.

I first met Ejen Chuang at Anime Expo ’08.  He had his own photo booth by the entrance of the convention center.  I was amazed that with all the professional photography equipments he had, he was doing everything by himself, no assistants at all.  That meant that when he had to take a restroom break, he asked one of the attendees to watch his stuff. Talk about trusting a stranger!  Chuang is a Texas native and learned his photography skills by working with seasoned photographers.
