The fifth installment of Fast And The Furious has already began shooting and below are pictures from the cast thanks to Ludacris’ Twitter feed.  The cast is pretty much everybody from the first four movies including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese and Ludacris.  This is like the all star version of the franchise, I hope Lucas Black (Tokyo Drift) will also make an appearance.

Look at them thugs with their chins up and flexing!  Vin Diesel looks funny acting like he’s a teenager.  The pics remind City Of God with thugs running all over the city.

It seems like everyone is attached to vampire projects these days, even Johnny Depp.  Deadline reported that Depp will work again with his long time friend and director, Tim Burton.  The vampire movie is titled “Dark Shadows” and based on a tv show that ran from 1966-71.  I’ve never seen the show but most reviews I’ve read mentioned that the cinematography was dark and eerie.  This kind of atmosphere is perfect for Tim Burton, maybe he’ll make it like Sleepy Hollow, dark and lots of fog.

Sony Pictures has released the second trailer for The Social Network.  The David Fincher (Se7en) film is being marketed wisely, the teaser got my attention with the characters “chatting” on FB. For the trailer below, Sony used a cover song that makes the creation of Facebook a tragedy:

The choral version of “Creep” by Radiohead is done by Belgian Skala & Kolacny Brothers.  Since it’s directed by Fincher,  this movie will have a serious tone and probably won’t have a happy ending.  Oh the tragedies of FB.…

Spinoffonline reports that Kevin Bacon has signed as the Villain in X-Men: First Class. So far, he is the biggest name on the film, and I can see him playing a great villain.  Also, Jennifer Lawrence, who starred in Winter’s Bone, is casted as Mystique.

All the quick signings within the past two weeks indicates that director, Matthew Vaughn, knows what he wants, and is serious about the film.…

Devil is about a group of people trapped in an elevator. The situation gets worse, as they start to turn on each other as they await rescue.

M. Night is the producer of this film, and directed by brothers, Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. It seems like M. Night is running out of ideas, nothing in the trailer suggests originality. I was a big M. Night fan, even after The Village. Let’s hope for a good film, but above all, let’s hope that M. Night doesn’t pretend to be an actor in this film.…

So far, Despicable Me grossed more than 56 Million in the box office, double than what was expected by the Studio. This is a big success as the film’s budget was under 70 Million. Now, Deadline reports that a sequel is already in the works.

There are talks that the sequel will be focused on the Minions, which could bring a whole new twist to the film.…
