Warner Brothers is having a Green Lantern filled event on Friday, April 1st, at Wonder Con. They will have signings from the Green Lantern live action movie including Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively at 4pm, followed by panel discussion at 5.
The Blu-Ray and DVD feature “Green Lantern: Emerald Knights” will also debut the same day, followed by panel discussion.

GK films has acquired the rights to Tomb Raider from Square Enix, that awesome entertainment company who put out such gems as Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Graham King and Tim Headington will produce the film which is slated for a 2013 release. Believe it or not, the original two Tomb Raiders grossed over $400 mil. worldwide. It makes sense that they would want to reboot this thing, what with the success of the video game and the two Jolie flicks. Hopefully this time they’ll make the film less corny. Warner Bros. has announced that Diane Lane will be playing Martha Kent in Zack Snyder’s take on Superman. She is the second cast member to be announced so far. Oddly enough, this is not Lane’s first brush with the man of steel. She also co-starred with Ben Affleck in Hollywoodland, which was a film about the death of the actor who played Superman on TV, George Reeves.

The first movie set experience I had was for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Sony publicized they wanted as much extras as possible for a Green Goblin attack scene. The campy Dungeons & Dragons was released in 2000 with little hype and fan fare. It’s one of those movies that’s so bad, that it becomes entertaining. The movie takes place in Izmer where dragons exist and an evil sorcerer, Profion (Jeremy Irons), wants to rule the land. Savina (Thora Birch) recoginizes Profion’s evil scheme and searches for heroes that will save the world. Along the way, she recruits the heroes for the ultimate battle in the conclusion of the film!
The movie has terrible CG but it fits well with entire production. Acting and the script sucks but it’s fun …
