In the tradition of Mel Brooks’ Star Wars spoof Spaceballs, Iron Sky is a sci-fi comedy which seems to defy all rational thinking. A few days ago, rumors started to show up on the internet about the 3rd official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises and that it would be attached to Marvels The Avengers on May 4th or Warner Bros. At the London premiere of Avengers, producer Kevin Feige dropped several hints of X-Men characters appearing in future Avenger films. The two mentioned were Quick Silver and the Scarlet Witch, the children of Magneto.

While 20th Century Fox does own the X-Men movie license, characters like the 2 X-Men and Skrulls are some of the few character usable by both Fox and Marvel.  This is not confirmed but the possibility still stands and these two universes may finally come together through this.

The X-Men are a hugely popular comic book and franchise from Marvel that has been around for eons. Last seen on the big screen in the impressive X-Men: First Class, they return in this 2 DVD set of the complete series of the anime. The series contains all 12 episodes and a few special features. The animation from the legendary MADHOUSE is first-rate, and while the story is un-even, there’s enough going on to give it a positive review. Tim Burton, the producer of this summer’s, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter wants artists to submit their best vision of the movie.  There’s no limit to the design, it can be sketches, paintings, photos or a combination of all.  The 5 finalists will be chosen by fans and Burton will choose the winner.  The winner will get a private hometown midnight screening of Vampire Hunter.

I’m looking forward to some really cool art from fans because plenty will have political posters as well as funny ones. The movie opens June 20th.

Puncture is a film starring Chris Evans (Captain America) based on a true story about two lawyers who go up against the hospital supply industry after a nurse dies of AIDS from an infected needle.  After the nurse contracted AIDS, her dad’s best friend designed a needle which makes it impossible to get accidentally pricked and is impossible to use twice.
