G.I. Joe: Series 2, Season 2 DVD Review!

GI Joe FS 1 G.I. Joe: Series 2, Season 2 DVD Review!

“Got to get tough, YO JOE!” Man, was this a blast from the past, I remember 1991 where I was getting older and my interest was starting to wane from the usual cartoons; however, I never missed G.I. Joe.

The last 2 seasons of G.I. Joe were made by DiC who is famous for ‘Inspector Gadget’ and ‘Kidd Video’ and are known for really nice cartoon art and great voice acting and this final series of G.I. Joe really showcased some fine voice work.

Shout Factory issues a lot of great media and this 20 episode, 3 DVD set of G.I. …

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 1 Textless Guardians of the Galaxy Coming May 16th, 2014

After a few days of speculation, it appears as if Marvels second big movie for 2014 (the other being Captain America 2) is Guardians of the Galaxy. The film is apparently set to appear at this year’s San Diego Comic Con along with Iron Man 3 and Thor 2.

Marvel studio has apparently prioritized this over Black Panther, although they are also said to be working on Ant-ManDr. Strange and The Inhumans (as well as The Avengers 2 in 2015).

Nicole Perlman has written two drafts of the screenplay (she has also impressed Marvel with Black Widow solo …

Avengers Blu-ray Trailer

Avengers Blu-ray Trailer

hulk MAIN 1449375a Avengers Blu ray Trailer

What the hell..a trailer for a home video release?  Actually, I’m just being over-dramatic.  Studios have been releasing trailers for their cash show video releases for awhile now.  20th Century Fox is a big fan of this.  I remember they released one for Star Wars and Avatar on blu-ray.

Now it’s Disney’s turn to hype up their biggest movie ever, The Avengers.  The blu-ray will come in 2 sets with the 2d and 3d versions and released Sept 25th.  The rumored director’s cut is just that…a rumor.  It won’t be included in this release.

Will Disney release a director’s cut in …

Movie Review: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Movie Review: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

vampire hunter01 Movie Review: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a film adaptation from a book of the same title. The book was enjoyable, concise, and very detailed. After seeing the trailers, I was excited about the film, but still had my doubts. When I was at Wondercon 2012, they previewed a clip from the film. It was great, now, I was really looking forward to the film.

The premise sounds a little goofy, Abraham Lincoln was also a vampire hunter. But, the book made it work. Author Seth Grahame-Smith did a great job combining fiction with historical facts. The idea is that Lincoln’s decisions in …
