This is breaking news so there’s not a lot to report on just yet, but it has been announced that Ubisoft and New Regency have officially joined forces to bring us an Assassin’s Creed movie! And what’s even better is that Michael “Magneto” Fassbender has already signed on to play the lead and they don’t even have a screenplay yet.

Toad Road is an independent film which was discovered and picked up by Elijah Wood’s production company ‘The Woodshed’ while he was putting together the programming for a horror film festival in Los Angeles. The festival, called Nightmare City, is going on right now and will be hosting the US premiere of Toad Road next Tuesday, October 23rd at 10pm.

Yes my friends its happening! After WBs victory against the Shuster family in the battle for the Superman rights, Warner Bros are now preparing to release the big DC team movie in the same year as the Avengers 2!!!
Several inside sources stated that if Warner Bros lost the battle for the Superman rights, it would have put the JL movie in limbo once more, since that’s not the case, they have are planning to shoot the film as early as next year with the 2015 release date intact as stated previously.
