Disney is bringing back the magic by bringing in pop artists to record music for their animated movies.

“Never Knew I Needed” will be featured during the film’s ending credits
and will be available for digital download through the iTunes Music
Store on November 3rd. The soundtrack album will be available November
23rd, and the movie, whose action takes place in New Orleans and the
Louisiana bayou, will open in theatres on December 11th. In addition to
Ne-Yo’s contribution, ‘The Princess and the Frog’ Soundtrack boosts a
colorful collection of original songs and a lively orchestral score,
both composed and conducted

I belong to those group that really enjoyed Assassin’s Creed. Sure it’s got the same type of missions that you have to do over and over, but I love assassinating people and the controls are really intuitive.

Here, we have the first part of the live-action short movie made by the special effects guys that did 300 and Sin City, Hybride, which was bought by Ubisoft. It has parkour, fighting, and assassinations. If it had silent kills, I’d think it’d be perfect. Zack Snyder would be a good candidate for doing a live-action Assassin’s Creed movie. I wonder how much they spent on this recruiting video.  The effects aren’t bad for a commercial.  I’m also wondering if Michael Bay will sue Taiwan…or did he secretly direct it?…

Sam Raimi started out his career with a tiny low-budget horror film called Evil Dead. The movie’s mix of slapstick and gory fun earned it and its sequel Evil Dead 2 a massive cult following. Drag Me to Hell feels like a return to form from Raimi and is an exciting throwback to old-school horror. The DVD comes with both an unrated and theatrical cut, which are almost identical and serve mostly as a studio marketing ploy to prop up a movie which sadly didn’t do much at the US box office.

Based on this picture, I am somewhat excited about this film. I still have my doubts, but the cast looks good. Maybe except for Rampage Jackson (former UFC champ), he looks like a nicer version of MR. T. But, you can’t go wrong with Liam Neeson as the leader of the pack. I enjoyed watching him play as mentors in his previous films, such as Episode I and Kingdom of Heaven. Carnahan, don’t disappoint me!…
