The new chief creative officer (COO) of DC, Geoff Johns, discussed the future of the company at WonderCon.  Johns was enthusiastic as ever and talked about plenty of subjects, from comics to movies and personal career.

Below are the highlights:

–  DC is thinking about a Justice League movie but can’t talk about it until Comic Con.

–  Green Lantern movie is in 3^rd week of principal photography.  Totally pleased with the progress

– Batman will have more role in Brightest Day compared to Blackest Night.  Good friend with Grant Morrison and discusses Batman’s character with him all the time.…

It seems that Peter Jackson has got the ball rolling and Universal and Fox have decided to proceed with the movie. Check out this awesome trailer and see why the studios’ faith in the project have resurrected. Will you finish the fight?

Okay, I might have been carried away with the last 2 but this movie brings back nostalgia!  The trailer reminds me of the 80’s action flick where the story is light but the body count will be really high.  Even the cinematography looks cheap but you can tell the cast had a great time making the flick.  I’ll be there opening night!…

I remember being a teenager really getting into arthouse and indie flicks. It happened around the time that Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction came out and independent film went “mainstream”. I’d go downtown to catch foreign and indie flicks with no stars, no budget, and no polish, and I’d like them (for the most part) more than many big budget studio counterparts. For someone who grew up on the mindless right-wing actioners of the generation of greed and slick trash known as the 1980’s, it still seems amazing to this day. ATTENTION ALL ENCOM EMPLOYEES!  We reported earlier this month on Disney’s intriguing Tron Legacy Viral Marketing Campaign in the form of an online mini-game.  If you completed the game you would receive a personalized ID badge as an ENCOM “Employee.”  Scanning the badge with a Google phone would send you to the ENCOM Company website where there were subtle hints at some sort of reveal in San Francisco the same time as Wonder-Con.  Recently all employees receives an email from ENCOM PR:
