Two different trailers, with two different stories. Hmmm! I was a bit confused when I saw the trailers, the first one indicated that Tinker Bell was the one caught, but the second one implied that it was Vidia that was caught.

My guess is that Tinker Bell was caught first, but was released by the kid. Not knowing the situation, Vidia tries to rescue Tinker and ends up getting caught herself.

Check it out!

paranormal activity 2 Trailer: Paranormal Activity 2

Although, I enjoyed the first one, I’m not too excited about the sequel. I’m curious to see how the filmmakers will utilize the baby and the dogs to create more drama to the storyline.

See for yourself!

Noticed that in the frame where the creepy hooded person is standing by the door, the baby is visible in the mirror, but not in the crib? Is the baby possessed?…

dragon ball evolution AX 10: Failure Of Anime Movies In Hollywood

In one of the more unique panels at Anime Exp 2010, Hollywood discussed the failures of anime based movies such as the high budget Speed Racer and the CG animated Astro Boy.

Northrop Davis (producer, screenwriter) moderated the panel while  Nobuo Masuda (Bandai Producer), Jason Hoffs (VIZ Productions), Race Owen (Decipher Pictures Founder and President)  and Joshua Long (producing live action (Cowboy Bebop movie) were the guest panelists.

The panelists agreed that making a succesful transition from anime to a Hollywood movie is a tough task.  One major reason for the failure is the appeal of the movies.  What sells in …

Sharp Things: Ultra Violet Sword!

Sharp Things: Ultra Violet Sword!

UltraV Poster Sharp Things: Ultra Violet Sword!

In 2006 moviegoers were treated to one of the most colorful futuristic movies ever made. Featuring Milla Jovovich as the title character Violet; this movie takes you on a wild ride of action and special effects that doesn’t stand still for long.

One of the things I enjoyed most about the movie was the sword Violet used. This long slab of steel, forged in a rectangular fashion with all three edges sharpened sports a solid, leather wrapped handle and no hand guard. The concept for the sword was amazingly fascinating. Engraved on one side of the blade is her script…I mean …

Blu-ray Review – The Eclipse

Blu-ray Review – The Eclipse

eclipse Blu ray Review The Eclipse

No, not the one with the Vampires and Wolves. This Eclipse has to do with a struggling single father haunted by his wife’s death. Set in Ireland, the cinematography for this film is wonderful. But, the story is a bit dragging. The main character played by Ciaran Hinds is interesting, but the rest of the cast weighs down the film with their annoying personalities, especially Nicholas Holden played by Aidan Quinn. This is somewhat of a Horror film, but more so, it’s a film about human relationships. This film starts out great, but drags its way to the finish line.…

“Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity. Mark my words, …

Blu Ray Review: The Warlords (Jet Li)

Warlords Blu Ray Review: The Warlords (Jet Li)

The Warlords is a violent period epic with fine acting and some awesome battles, yet the story is lacking and not engaging. The Warlords is not a bad movie, it just should have been more emotionally involving than it turned out to be. Three accomplished Asian stars Jet Li, Takeshi Kaneshiro, and Andy Lau, take the lead in this epic action movie taking place during the brutal Taiping Rebellion of the 1860s. The battles scenes are epic in scope and strikingly violent, but in between action scenes, the dialogue and storytelling tend to fall flat.

The Warlords stars martial arts master …

The Last Airbender vs. Twilight Saga: Eclipse

The Last Airbender vs. Twilight Saga: Eclipse

LastAirbender poster 424x600 The Last Airbender vs. Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Alright fellow nerds, Eclipse and The Last Airbender have gotten a lot of hype and both are released this week.  Eclipse came out today while Airbender comes out tomorrow.  So which movie should you watch?  As much as I’d hate to say this because I love the Avatar show, I’d probably have to go with Eclipse.

As I type this, M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender is taking a beating on rottentomatoes with only a 4%  rating .  That means that more than 95% of the critics gave it a negative review.  Even Dragonball has a better rating at 13%, …
