Kevin Conroy, the well known voice actor who played Batman in the animated series/movies and video game interpretations recently announced that a Flashpoint animated film is being produced.

For those of you who dont know, Flashpoint was a 2011 DC Comics mini series and crossover event.  Written by Geoff Johns and drawn by Andy Kubert, the series showed Flash (Barry Allen), altering the entire DC universe by tampering with the past.  This radically changed the DC universe and all of the characters. One of the more notable examples of this change was the new Batman.

In the Flashpoint universe, Bruce …

X Men Anime3 DVD Review: X Men Anime

The X-Men are a hugely popular comic book and franchise from Marvel that has been around for eons. Last seen on the big screen in the impressive X-Men: First Class, they return in this 2 DVD set of the complete series of the anime. The series contains all 12 episodes and a few special features. The animation from the legendary MADHOUSE is first-rate, and while the story is un-even, there’s enough going on to give it a positive review. The character designs are clean and fresh and the action scenes are beautifully animated while the voice work is also top-notch. My …

Iron Man Iron Man: Anime, DVD Review!

Written by Marvel’s Warren Ellis and re-written from that story by the writers at Madhouse in Japan, the Iron Man Anime takes the viewer into a later stage of Tony Stark’s career. Tony travels to Japan with nothing but peace in mind after years of manufacturing and selling weapons. In order to …

Puncture is a film starring Chris Evans (Captain America) based on a true story about two lawyers who go up against the hospital supply industry after a nurse dies of AIDS from an infected needle.  After the nurse contracted AIDS, her dad’s best friend designed a needle which makes it impossible to get accidentally pricked and is impossible to use twice. The only problem is, no hospitals are willing to use the needle because their contracts with their supply companies forbid them to.  Needless to say, the hospital supply industry is against the new needle and why not?  It …

2011 12 01 WE ARE THE NIGHT 001 Streaming Review: We Are the Night (2011)

This film was directed by the same guy who made The Wave (based on the true story of the German school teacher who conducted a Nazi experiment with his class that got out of hand). Not to be confused with Joaquin Phoenix’s We Own the Night, We Are the Night  is quite an ingenious vampire flick out of Germany.

If you can picture the Cullens as sort of the small town vampires, the We Are the Night ladies are like the big city vamps. They live a seemingly glamorous lifestyle living in a high-rise hotel, driving Lambos and partying in …

StarWarsXXXArt DVD Review: Star Wars Parody XXX

Star Wars Parody, just like the Batman Parody is entertaining. It’s entertaining because it’s cheesy, as it should be. The green screens are obvious, and the acting is comical. All the favorite characters from Star Wars are incorporated into the XXX scenes, and then some. Chewy gets into a threesome with the female storm troopers. Obi Wan is my favorite character as a drunken old jedi, played very well by Award-Winner Tom Byron. Yes, they have awards too.  Allie Haze is awesome as Princess Leia, a nerd’s dream come true. Maybe not all, as some would probably still prefer Carrie Fisher. …
