Maybe. As Entourage is nearing the end of its long career, Kevin Connolly is branching out to different roles. He wants to direct a Kimbo Slice film.

Kimbo Slice is a Youtube sensation. He started his career as a backyard brawler, who ended fighting in the biggest MMA organization, the UFC. His career didn’t last very long in the Octagon because he was obviously out-skilled (the guy can’t grapple), but he pulled high ratings, so the UFC gave him a chance.

At first, I thought that this whole thing was a PR move by Lyoto Machida’s team. But now, I’m starting to think that crazy Seagal really has something to offer. Choke was the theme of the night as Long Beach Fight Night was back for their 12th event.  Half of the fights ended in some kind of choke with a little bit of slugfest, brutal slams and controversies from the other fights.

Below are the results:

Corrales went for a huge slam early in the fight and set the pace for the fight.  Corrales was controlling the ground when Gozales scrambled.  Corrales took Gonzales back as he stood up and got the rear naked choke.

I decided to stop by De La O’s school to check out  there fight camp.  2 fighters from the camp are getting ready for battle at Long Beach Fight Night on Sunday, May 1st, 2011.  The intense workout lasted for about 80 minutes consisting of conditioning and stand up techniques.  Randy Haskill and Henry Corrales (who pulled out from the last event due to an injury) were hard at work from start to finish.

As you can see from the pics below, being an MMA fighter is no easy task.
