Brock Lesnar lost on Friday against Allistair Overeem because he was scared. He was afraid of getting hit from the get go and went for a half ass takedown attempt. I’m not mad that he lost the fight, I’m more frustrated that he didn’t put up a fight. Junior Dos Santos vs Cain was a shorter fight but I thought that was good. Both fighters came out to fight and were fighting to win. So after Brock’s fight, he was heading back to the locker room when he shoved the cameraman. Makes Brock even more of a baby, I know he …
Former WWE and UFC “champ” Brock Lesnar and his hunting guide apparently shot a couple of deer buck in November in Alberta, Canada and only took the head, leaving behind the rotting carcass. This is not only against the law but also violates some lame code about hunters really only supposed to be killing deer for the meat. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Lesnar is facing three charges including “leaving meat to rot, improper tagging, and illegal possession of wildlife.” Either Lesnar failed to secure his fish and wildlife tags to the deer or he never got any authorization …
What I wouldn’t give to see this bout on pay per view. On the Southwest side of Chicago around 11:30pm Friday night, 24 year old Anthony Miranda was beat and shot with his own gun by a UFC fighter during an attempted robbery/carjacking. The 33 year old victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that he was sitting in his car when the assailant approached him and asked for a light. When he said he didn’t have one, Miranda pulled out a gun and said to give him all his belongings. The UFC fighter turned over his valuables and then Miranda …
Two students, Frank Park and Henry Corrales, of the De La O Jiu-Jitsu dojo are training hard for their upcoming fights at Long Beach Fight Night (11/20/11).
Frank Park faces Lee Chapman this upcoming Sunday. Park considers himself a stand-up fighter. But, Park is also very seasoned in Jiu-jitsu. Park is a Brown Belt under the teachings of John De La O.
Kung-Fu fighting with John De La O
Henry Corrales had a successful debut earlier this year as he finished his opponent with a choke in less than 2 minutes. …
I attended the UFC on Fox between Velasquez and Dos Santos here in Anaheim. It was my first UFC since the Arlovski vs Sylvia 2, that must have been at least 3 years ago. Wow, how UFC has grown. More knowledgeable MMA fans which made for an enjoyable event. In the Arlovski Sylvia 2, I think TUF just finished its 1st season and there were a lot of stupid comments from the ground:
“Leglock his ass (when Tito was punching Griffin on their feet)”
“Arlovski’s a bitch (getting knocked out by Sylvia)”
This time around, I could tell there were a …
My short prediction is that Cain Velasquez will come out and pretend to box with Junior Dos Santos. Eventually, Velasquez will try to take the fight to the ground. Dos Santos has some crazy upper-cuts that I feel will land. Let’s not forget that Velasquez is also coming back from an almost 1-year layoff from an injury.
It will be a tough fight for both, and the real winner here will be the fans. Velasquez is a very durable wrestler with a good stand-up. JDS has excellent speed with even better boxing than Velasquez. It could really go either way, but …

Back in the days, before the UFC was synonymous with MMA, one organization stood above all, it was called PRIDE Fighting Championships. PRIDE was known for its fast-paced action. The rules were different, PRIDE fighters were allowed to throw soccer kicks on a downed opponent, as well as throw knees from a sprawl position.
Unfortunately, PRIDE eventually bankrupted itself, and the UFC bought the Company. The good news is that the UFC has decided to add a ‘PRIDE mode’ in their upcoming ‘Undisputed’ video game.
A big chunk of the PRIDE roster will consist of names that are already in the …
