I’m excited about this event. The overall card is okay, but the main event is going to be spectacular. Here are my predictions for the televised fights.
Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar – This fight will be explosive, at least in the first round. Lesnar fights like a bull, while Couture is always the tactician. Anderson Silva vs. Patrick Cote – For the well deserved hype Anderson Silva has received, he didn’t look too impressive against the major underdog, Patrick Cote. Sure, he showed off his dazzling moves but he didn’t follow up his attacks. Maybe he didn’t train hard for the fight or he was afraid of Cote’s KO power. UFC 90 is a weak PPV card. If it was free, then I wouldn’t complain. There are no real stars here except for Anderson Silva. But he is matched up with against a mediocre fighter in Cote. And that’s the main event.
