Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva – Evans will run through Silva in this fight. Evans’ camp is known for their strategy. Evans has the upper hand in wrestling, and his striking has tremendously improved. I see this fight ending the way Evans defeated Griffin. They will stand toe to toe, Silva’s sloppy striking will get countered, Silva will get dropped and finished off on the ground via TKO.

District 9 was a nerd’s wet dream.  For a budget of $30 million, director  Neill Blomkamp created a sci fi movie that had awesome special effects that rivaled big budget movies. Unlike most sci fi movies where it focuses more on special effects,  Blomkamp focused on a compelling story of the struggle between humans and aliens.  The best part of the movie was the last 20 minutes.  It was epic because the action scenes reminded you of your favorite FPS video …

Natasha Wicks and Logan Stanton were both released by the UFC, with no apparent explanations. Speculations are that the two Ring Girls made some unwanted comments about UFC fighter, Josh Koscheck during an interview. But, who hasn’t? The ring girls claimed that Koscheck faked an eye injury during his fight with Anthony Johnson. Oh well, at least Arriany Celeste will still be circling the Octagon.

So long, Logan!

Good luck to the girls, hopefully, the other MMA organizations will pick them up.

Champ B.J. Penn vs. Diego Sanchez (for lightweight title) – This should be an interesting matchup between the two lightweights. Diego Sanchez is an animal, he has good cardio, and a lot of heart. But, he has nothing that Penn can’t handle. I think that Sanchez will try to rush Penn, and eventually will get KOd. There is no way that this fight will hit the ground, unless Penn wants it to.

I got this video footage at the Palms Casino on Saturday night.  We were trying to find a club when we saw a huge group of people.  We checked out the commotion and found out Kimbo Slice was signing autographs in the lobby after his victory against Houston Alexander at the TUF Finale.  We also some several UFC fighters in the hotel including Big Baby, Matt Mitrione and Jon Jones.  Later on the night, we saw Tito Ortiz at Planet Hollywood with Jenna Jameson.…

Check out Dana’s blog, where he says that he’s a big Pacquiao fan, and Mazaggatti is one of the worse refs ever. This video was shot during UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun in L.A. He also goes on to tell Rothwell that the fight was stopped prematurely, Rothwell agreed as if he had a chance against Velasquez. Early stoppage or not, Rothwell wasn’t going to win that fight. Rothwell should just suck it up, and admit that he lost that fight.…

Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin – This is the main event, and definately should not be. But, Brock Lesnar pulled out from his fight with Carwin, so we are stuck with this. This is a rematch, and both fighters are coming out from a loss. Ortiz got manhandled by Machida in his last UFC fight, while Forrest got embarassed by Anderson Silva with a one-punch KO. Ortiz isn’t as dominant as he used to be. he’s had multiple ACL surgeries, and he’s not getting any younger. But, Forrest’s self-confidence will be in question coming from the last KO. So, Ortiz …
