UPDATE: Thiago Alves was pulled from the fight due to his MRI scans result. The UFC decided to throw Ben Saunders in there against Jon Fitch. Saunders was suppose to fight Ellenberger. Fitch will have no problem with Saunders, he will take this fight to the ground, and ride it out via ground control.

Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones – I see this fight going to the distance. Vera isn’t aggressive enough to finish fights anymore. Jones hasn’t really been tested. Yes, I’ve abandoned all expectations for any low-budget videogame-to-movie adaptations, but this little flick looks like it will be at least entertaining and fun. It’s looks to be more on the lines of Mortal Kombat and Dead or Alive compared to The Legend of Chun Li and Dragonball: Evolution.

Wanderlei Silva has a fight this Saturday against Michael Bisping in UFC 110. Where does he train? NERDSociety recently visited Wanderlei’s gym in Las Vegas, NV. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez – This should be a solid main event. After being beaten by Mir, it seemed like Nogueira just didn’t have it anymore. But, he came back strong with his fight against Randy Couture. But, Velasquez is no Couture, he is younger, faster, and stronger. Nogueira has been in fights with stronger men, but Velasquez is a different animal. He throws guys around almost 30 -40 lbs heavier than him. Randy Couture vs. Mark Coleman
Yes folks, this is the maint event.  Two old legendary wrestlers duking it out at 205.  In Couture’s last fight, against the boring Brandon Vera, it looked like age finally caught up to him.  Couture was slow and sloppy.  While Coleman is old, he looked dominating against Stephan Bonnar and won via ground and pound.  They’re both great wrestlers but Couture will win this because of his superior striking.  Coleman might get a couple of …

Nick Diaz vs. Marius Zaromskis – This is a great match-up. Diaz is the ultra versatile fighter that can take a lot of punishments, and end up on top. Zaromskis has been on a tear as of late, finishing most of his fights via head kicks. The thing in question about Zaromskis’ game is his grappling. It hasn’t really been tested, simply because his opponents have a hard time taking him down. Zaromskis should be able to keep this fight standing and wins via head kick, then finish Diaz on the ground with punches.
