Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen – Sonnen is a straight wrestler with a weak submission defense, and no striking abilities whatsoever, Anderson Silva is an amazing striker with a solid ground game. Does Sonnen deserve a title shot after defeating Nate Marquardt? In so many words, NO. But, everybody has a chance in MMA. Roger “El Matador” Huerta might not be fighting in the UFC anymore but he can still kick ass.  Huerta was outside a bar in Austin, TX when he saw a big dude knock a girl out.  Huerta, who fights now for Bellator, saw the incident and confronted the guy that was at least 40 lbs heavier than him.  TMZ captured the fight but it can’t be clearly seen who really knocked out the assailant but you can see Huerta still punching the guy after he’s already knocked out.

MMAjunkie reports that Lyoto Machida and Quentin “Rampage” Jackson has verbally agreed to fight on the Nov. 20th card. This is a good match-up as both fighters are coming off significant losses. Machida was knocked off as the LHW champion by Brazilian counterpart, Maurcio “Shogun” Rua. While Rampage’s loss to Evans wasn’t as devastating, Rampage lost the opportunity to once again fight for the belt.

Kim Couture is confident and ready for her fight tonight against newcomer Marianna Kheyfets at XFC.
