This is breaking news so there’s not a lot to report on just yet, but it has been announced that Ubisoft and New Regency have officially joined forces to bring us an Assassin’s Creed movie!  And what’s even better is that Michael “Magneto” Fassbender has already signed on to play the lead and they don’t even have a screenplay yet.

Yes my friends its happening! After WBs victory against the Shuster family in the battle for the Superman rights, Warner Bros are now preparing to release the big DC team movie in the same year as the Avengers 2!!!

Several inside sources stated that if Warner Bros lost the battle for the Superman rights, it would have put the JL movie in limbo once more, since that’s not the case, they have are planning to shoot the film as early as next year with the 2015 release date intact as stated previously.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, the long in development Ant-Man movie by Edgar Wright finally has a release date! And it is November 6, 2015! What’s really shocking about this is that its coming out AFTER Avengers 2, there are two possibilities and both are highly probable.

 The first is that Ant-Man will be setup in the Avengers 2 and then will receive his own movie once audiences can get acquainted with the character (similar to how Hulk became huge after Avengers).

David Fincher is a nerd. No really, he is.  Don’t let the fact that he directed the guy film to end all guy films Fight Club fool you. He’s as nerdy as they come. How do I know this? Because some guys at Microsoft ratted him out to The Daily Beast. In August, Masaki Kitamura, who was AD on both seasons of Mobile Suit Gundam OO, was arrested for posting a message on the city of Osaka’s website in July which read:  “I will commit a massacre in Otaroad next Sunday. I will ram into pedestrian paradise, and after stabbing indiscriminately with a knife, I will commit suicide” on July 29 at about 9:45 p.m.”  Otaroad is an area in Osaka where this “pedestrian paradise” is held; it’s a sort of Farmer’s Market type deal where the streets are closed off to cars and people can walk around and shop.

In May of 2011, Mark Williams was arrested in full Batman gear while climbing up the side of a building carrying a number of Batman-esque tools and weapons. Over this past weekend, Williams was up to his old tricks as Michigan police arrested him again for obstructing a police investigation.

Yet another sad day for people (AKA me) who enjoyed Dredd, the film made only 2.2 million in its opening day worldwide and is expected to gross only 5.7 million during in NA. I had to triple check this news due to my utter disbelief, im still puzzled by this as Dredd has gotten nearly unanimous critical acclaim and it was in 3-d but it looks like that didn’t help much.

A sad day for us guys (AKA me) that wanted too see an even longer version of TDKR, Nolan has confirmed that there will NOT be such a version of the film either this December or right before Man of Steel.

While this is isn’t a shock for some, it leaves in question as to what is going to happen with the Bane origin that was reportedly cut out of the film, will it be a deleted scene? Doubtful too since Nolan isn’t big on deleted scenes either, so we may never see Bane’s true origin….…
