We’ve had baseball, comics and even garbage pail kids trading cards but artist Len Peralta has a new offer for nerds, geek trading cards!  29 cards have been revealed from the 52 card set and features geeks such as Kevin Smith and Adam Savage from “Mythbusters.”  Peralta’s projected consisted of interviewing one nerd per week and putting the fun stats on the cards.

I just got word from Spike that the tv show, Deadliest Warrior will be made into a movie by Paramount.  The story hasn’t been revealed yet but there’s one thing certain, this will be bloody!  Here’s the official release from Spike:

Shogungamer.com just uploaded a video on youtube that looks like a live action trailer for Pokemon.  The video captures the last 39 seconds of the 3 minute  preview and it looks really bad.  Don’t know if this is fan made or not but they should have made the theme more “fun” instead of “bad ass.”

Let Me In is the American remake of the Swedish Let the Right One In, a very creepy thriller/horror about a lonely, young boy who befriends a mysterious girl. So you’re talking to a girl at some bar only to get rejected for your efforts.  It hurts right?  Well, a University of Kansas research might have found the cure for you: Tylenol.  The study scanned the participants brain after social rejection and the test showed Tylenol takers were less hurt than the people that took placebo.  Scientists are thinking that there’s a correlation between physical pain and social rejection.  So if you’re not feeling pain, you’re more than less likely to be sensitive.

So next time I go out, I’ll be sure to take a couple of Tylenol’s beforehand and …

In the new trailer for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, it shows Captain America saving Chun Li from a chopper.  Sure, it’s a bit overdramatic and we don’t see actual gameplay but it’s still cool to see the characters that will be in the game.

Coolest part for me was when Vietiful Joe and Amaterasu showed up.  The graphics are so pretty…….…

Besides the cool music, I’m not a big fan of the Saw Franchise.  There’s plot holes that ruins the “surprise endings” but year after year, Lionsgate keeps making it. For this year, saw will be in 3-D and this trailer looks like a damn amusement park ride.  

For a ride, this would be cool.  But to have a trailer that makes people think it’s that crazy is misleading.  I wonder how many teenagers wll complain to the theater that they didn’t experience what was in the trailer.…
