UFC president, Dana “Do you want to be a f’king fighter?” White, will be awarded with the Game Changer Award at the 2010 Sports Media Marketing Awards in New York City next month.  The award show will  recognize the innovators in sports and it’ll be hosted by comedian Jay Mohr.  I’m happy Dana White is getting this award.  He might come off as an arrogant prick but he made MMA, a respectable sport.  Before Zuffa (Fertita Brothers and White) took over the UFC, the organization was going downhill.  The show Ultimate Fighter brought new fans to MMA and ever since then, …

Avatar Extended Blu-Ray Will Have Theatrical Cut

Avatar Extended Blu-Ray Will Have Theatrical Cut

avatar james cameron movie 1024x576 Avatar Extended Blu Ray Will Have Theatrical Cut

There were speculations that the Avatar Blu-Ray coming out November 15th would only have the extended edition but Fox confirmed today that it’ll also have the theatrical cut.  The extended cut will have 16 minutes of additional footage that was shown on IMAX about a month ago.  The 3 disc set will also have over 45 minutes of deleted scenes.  The Blu-Ray will also have a family audio track where objective language are removed.  I’ve never heard of that feature before.  Love the movie or not, this edition is packed with extras.  Good thing I didn’t buy the first release.

vlcsnap 123201 COD: Black Ops Will Be In Eye Popping 3D

Activision just announced another big news for Call Of Duty: Black Ops, it will be 3D ready!  With this news, I think EA’s Medal Of Honor is pretty much dead on arrival.  We also heard last week that the zombies are coming back and that’s a fan favorite so you know they’re already listening to their fans.  Add today’s news and Black Ops just has better value compared to Medal Of Honor.  Although Medal Of Honor could surprise us and have a great multiplayer and in the end, that’s what counts the most.

Below is Activision’s statement:

” The Most Anticipated …

Paranormal Activity 2 1024x536 Full Trailer: Paranormal Activity 2

Trailer:

This doesn’t look scary to me, more like a comedy. I did enjoy the first one, as it made me jump a couple of time. But, this one seems too gimmicky. I could care less that there’s a baby and a dog involved. And, the “scary” little girls in horror movies are well played out. But, maybe it’s just me, what do you guys think?…

Zack Snyder to direct Superman 3.0

Zack Snyder to direct Superman 3.0

superman wallpaper Zack Snyder to direct Superman 3.0

According to Deadline New York, Warner Bros has finally announced who has been chosen to direct the Superman reboot and it is none other than the guy who brought you 300, Watchmen and currently in post-production Sucker Punch.  This could be good.  300 was a decent movie.  Whatever it lacked had more to do with story than anything directorial, I thought.  And unlike some people I’ve spoken to, I had no problem with Watchmen and happen to enjoy the film a lot.  I do agree that some of the story details needed to be updated a bit, but again, …

Director Todd Phillips has confirmed with Empire Online that the flamboyant Mr Leslie Chow will be back for the sequel.  I don’t know if this is a good idea with Mr. Chow coming back.  He was funny in the original because he was an original character and surprised me with his crazy antics.  If you saw him the sequel, you already know what to expect from him and won’t be as funny.  I was hoping they’d go with new side characters.

Phillips also confirmed that the story will take place in LA and Thai Land and talked smack on Meet The …

Human Torch’s Heartwarming Story

Davidscard1 1 Human Torch’s Heartwarming Story

Chris Evans aka Human Torch was the only good thing about the Fantastic Four movies and it seems like he’s also a nice guy.  A sick kid in UK is a big Human Torch fan and he made a drawing and wanted to give it to Chris Evans at the Captain America set.  Here’s the full story courtesy of Chris-EvansV.net:

“My little boy David loves watching the Fantastic Four films, he especially loves Chris Evans and spends a lot of time playing at being Johnny Storm. I have to play the baddie and he defeats me. He’s got his walls …
