The prequel trilogy sucked but George Lucas made so much money off the movies that he’s planning to do another installment in the Star Wars universe.  The speculation is that it won’t have the Skywalkers involved but instead focus on new Star Wars characters.  I’m going to take a wild guess and say it’ll be in 3-D!  Besides the new trilogy being planned, Lucas is planning to a make live action tv show, re-release the prequels in 3-D and then have a blu-ray release.

Death from Sandman will make an appearrance in Action Comics #894.  Lex Luthor will encounter Death and the readers will get to see the mind of Superman’s arch nemesis.  I always enjoy stories that focus on the villains, as you see them more than just haters. 

The Sandman universe was created by critically acclaimed, Neil Gaiman (Mirror Mask).

The issue will also have a side story of Jimmy Olsen entertaining a Princess Alien.

Action Comics #894 will be released this Wednesday, 10/27/2010 for $3.99.  Damn, what happened to the days when it was only $1.25??…

In August it was announced that there would be a new Hellraiser movie set for 2011 release.  It’s supposed to be an entirely new story and Pinhead’s in it, well, sort of.  Here’s an excerpt of a letter Doug Bradley, the original actor who played Pinhead, released to Dread Central at that time:

Long Beach Fight Night was back again for its 10^th MMA event and this was the best so far.  The action packed night was filled with knockouts as the fighters put on a great show for the  near sold out crowd.

In other Medal Of Honor news, gamrfeed has reported that EA’s FPS sold 500k on the first day which includes PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.  60% of sales has been for 360.  That sounds like a lot right?  Let’s see, 500k x $59.99 gets you about $30 million….yeah that’s a lot of money. 

 But EA has reported that they want at least 3 million sold by the end of the year so a sequel will be a go.  If the reviews are correct, I wouldn’t want a sequel to this game anyways.  I still want to check out the multiplayer so …

This is a possiblity, however, the project is in the early stages at this point, and no details have been revealed. For now, we know one thing, Jeph Loeb will be involved in the project as he is part of the Marvel TV division.

The Hulk sounds interesting, and could work out. But, I am more interested in The Punisher, it is also one of the titles being considered by ABC.

Two of the world’s top 205ers are training together in Dan Henderson’s camp in Temecula, CA.

Dan Henderson is billed to fight the experienced, Renato “Babalu” Sobral come Dec. 4th.

Gegard Mousasi

Training together is good for both fighters. Gegard Mousasi lost his belt to a wrestler in King Mo. Maybe Henderson can help Mousasi tighten up his wrestling. On the other hand, Henderson can learn a few moves from Mousasi, as Mousasi has already defeated Henderson’s future opponent, Babalu.

It would be nice to train there, if you can afford the price, $150/mo.…
